My first forging.

Its not pretty, but the first of anything never is. This piece was my first cutoff tool, made from a piece of 1/2 inch rebar and ground with an angle grinder with a cutoff disk. This tool eventually sank into the wood and snapped off after about 3 months, but it did its job and helped push me further. This isn’t here to brag, (not that there’s much to brag about) but rather to remind myself of where I started from. This is where my skills were at when I started. This page is about my progress as a smith. Not much else.
